AKANTE CERAMICS
Ceramics are made from a mixture of fine clay particles, natural aluminosilicate minerals, silica and kaolin. The creation of ceramics involves a process of shaping, printing, and final firing at temperatures exceeding 1000°C. This process makes the material extremely robust, resistant to wear, scratches, heat and deformation.
Heat-resistant

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR CERAMICS
Akante offers a wide range of table tops made of ceramic, either
3 or 6 mm thick, layered onto a glass base of 6 or 8 mm, or solid
ceramic with a thickness of 11 mm. These table tops are crafted
from slabs that can measure up to 1.60 meters by 3.20 meters.
Each cut in the ceramic creates a unique tray. Most of Akante’s
ceramics are produced in Spain, and certain models such as light
oak, Silver and Titane are specifically designed by Akante and manufactured
exclusively for the brand.

THE NEW CERAMICS
Discover Akante’s new marbled ceramics and their unique colors.
These new ceramics mimic marble with various and highly
realistic patterns to closely resemble the natural material. The polished
(shiny) ceramics offer strong durability. However, they may
be more susceptible to scratches compared to matte ceramics.
You will find them on coffee tables, dining tables, side tables, or
even consoles.
